Seria Booth

JPCA Show is one of Japan's largest specialized exhibitions, bringing together technologies related to electronic circuits, printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic components, and semiconductors. Over the three-day event, the Electronic Equipment Total Solution Exhibition, including JPCA Show, attracted 49,206 visitors. The venue welcomed a wide range of industry professionals, including engineers, researchers, developers, and manufacturing specialists involved in the development, design, and production of electronic equipment.

Under the theme "Print Technologies and Automation Solutions for Advanced Miniaturization and High-Density Manufacturing," Seria showcased its latest print technologies and automation solutions for the printed wiring board manufacturing industry.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was Seria's Semi Automatic Vacuum Printing Machine With Camera Alignment, which was demonstrated on-site. As printed wiring boards continue to become more densely integrated, the high-quality filling of fine vias and through holes with resin has become an increasingly important manufacturing process. Seria's vacuum filling technology suppresses the formation of air bubbles (voids) during the filling process, ensuring stable filling quality. This contributes to the successful filling of increasingly smaller holes, improved production yields, and enhanced product reliability. Sample workpieces and customer case studies were presented at the booth, generating many specific inquiries from visitors.

Demonstration of Voidless Printing

In the field of PE, Seria exhibited its Gravure Offset Printing Machine and Gapless Synchronized Screen Printing Machine. The Gravure Offset Printing Machine enables the high-resolution printing of electronic circuits, sensors, and other functional patterns, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from research and development to production-scale evaluation.

The Gapless Synchronized Screen Printing Machine is designed for continuous printing on film-based materials. It attracted considerable interest as a solution manufacturing electronic components such as multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), delivering both high-speed continuous production and stable printing quality.In addition, Seria gave presentations in the seminar area on both vacuum filling printing and gravure offset printing technologies. These sessions introduced the basic printing mechanisms, applications, and potential industrial uses of the technologies, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of their capabilities.

The exhibition also featured FA (Factory Automation) solutions combining material handling, positioning, printing, and inspection technologies. These solutions provided practical proposals for greater operational efficiency, improved quality consistency, and improved production efficiency.

At the booth of Yamagata University, visitors were also able to see the printing-based patterning technology for ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) transparent electrodes technology, developed jointly by Komori and the university. ITO transparent electrodes are key components of solar cells, and this technology enables the formation of highly precise electrode patterns without relying on conventional high-cost processing methods. The Komori Group is advancing the development with a view toward applying this technology to the manufacturing processes of next-generation solar cells, including perovskite solar cells and organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells.
